We are very pleased to announce confirmation that Paperlinx Group have been appointed distributors for the Accura product range within North America. Accura will be marketed under the umbrella of "Uplinx Solutions" - the Paperlinx techincal products division, as part of a global move that sees Paperlinx Group diversify into areas such as consumables, equipment, and software solutions.

|
|
Paperlinx operates in the USA and Canada under the Spicers, Coast Paper, Spicers Paper and Kelly Paper brands, for which it is better known, and likewise in the UK under the Robert Horne, Howard Smith, and PaperCo brand names.
The appointment follows our intial contact at the PrintWorld 2008 exhibiitoin in Toronto, Canada and subsequent talks. There has already been a considerable amount of interest shown in the product and new Canadian installations are imminent. Paperlinx Canada will be providing sales, support and training/installation services through their techincal services team from their Vaughan headquarters near Toronto.
Jason Hamilton, head of North American sales operations said “The potential for the Accura System is huge for us, we have seen substantial interest in the product already. As exclusive distributors we are excited to show the local market a new, highly sophisticated MIS that is less expensive & ideal for small to medium sized printers.”

AccuraOnline and Accura 4.21 Released
A major new version of Accura has been released along with the new AccuraOnline e-commerce module |
|
| |
 |
|
Alan Potter, International Sales Director said...
"AccuraOnline is the only e-commerce product to seamlessly link with Accura, and is a powerful marketing tool. Many printers still only do business within a 50 mile radius, but times have changed. Using the internet businesses can and should be able to trade nationally, even internationally 24/7... AccuraOnline makes this possible – even for smaller printing companies"
New features in Accura 4.21 include internet faxing, SMTP email support, on the fly re-quoting when copying orders, sales invoice payment tracking, new production report, improved CRM and RDC programs, and new accounts links |

PrintWorld Canada Success
Toronto, Canada played host to PrintWorld 2008 in November of last year. This is the second time we have attended this exhibition and Accura has been very well received.
We have been working for some time to appoint a new partner in Canada and the show gave us an opportunity to make new business relationships and we are now very close to an announcement. We will no doubt be back in Canada very shortly to follow up on this trip and to carry out new installations.
We were also fortunate enough to obtain two slots within the Adobe software presentation theatre where Alan Potter - Sales Director, gave a multimedia presentation/demonstration entitled: "MIS - Luxury or Necessity?" |

PrintWorld 2008 is the Canadian show for small-offset and digital printers and is very well attended with around 7,000 visitors over 3 days... this is well in excess of most UK shows.
Unusually it runs across a full weekend. Apart from IPEX, in the UK this approach to exhibiting is almost unheard of, however we experienced good traffic flow on all days.
We were extremely pleased with our stand design this time around, where we had a back wall projector screen. The stand was custom built locally for us using "kit" components. |
