Accura 4.11 Released

This month sees the final release of Accura 4.11, after several beta editions which have been on test with clients over the past few weeks. Download the update from the Client support area
The new version allows the user to control the number of pages down and across in the section wizard for a multi-page section (so for example a 24pp section could be 3x4, 4x3, 6x2, or 2x6 pages)
Other new features include a new accounts link for Australian users, and support for reel-fed sheeting using a variation of label cutting tools, called cylinders |

New ANZ Distributer
Local workflow specialists DES have been selected to distribute Accura to Australia and New Zealand printers. During the Printex 07 exhibition this year in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, we attracted a lot of local interest & made an immediate impression on the Australian print market. Our current system count in Australia stands at 14, with 25 users at the largest site |

A number of exciting events have taken place recently: the release of version 4.09, the expansion of the DDS sales and support teams, and the growth of our export market to name but three. These activities strengthen both DDS and the Accura product line, further establishing us as a market leading MIS supplier
New Appointments
We are pleased to welcome Gavin Spooner to the team. Gavin's role is Support Engineer, responsible for day to day help-desk support for the Accura product. With over 15 years experience in the printing trade from a press operator through to production manager, Gavin adds extra depth and experience to the support team |

A new addition to the Sales team is Adrian Matthews, who joins us as Northern Regional Sales Manager responsible for the North and Northwest of England & Scotland. Adrian brings with him over 30 years experience in the printing industry, ranging through repro, press, finishing and mailing expertise, as well as print related computer and software technology experience |
These additions to the team have brought about a couple of internal changes and promotions. Alan McKillop has been promoted to UK Sales Manager. All UK Sales and Training staff will report directly to him. His remit will cover overall customer service, satisfaction and retention as well as developing new business opportunities within our existing customer base. Alan is moving South to take up his new role and will be based at our head office in Chandlers Ford |

Mark Aitken has been appointed as UK and International Support Manager, with overall responsibility for both our UK and International client bases
To support the increase in personnel, the head office at Chandlers Ford has been refurbished and re-organised to provide more space for the support and sales teams, and a new training and presentation area |
Product NEWS
In line with our policy of continued product enhancement, version 4.09 was recently released. One of the most significant recent new features is the on screen Job Tracking board, which ships as a standard part of Accura's Core Production Module

Two systems have been sold in Cyprus, for applications covering both Litho and Label Printing |

Our first installation has now been completed in Romania to a large Litho Printer. We hope this will be the first of many as a local Romanian company, Dynon SRL has now been appointed to handle the Accura product |
